Spay and Neuter Surgery
Our veterinary team recommends the Preferred Spay and Neuter options to ensure your pet has the safest experience while under anesthesia.
- Please call our team at (419) 214-1560 to schedule your pet’s surgery.
- A $50 deposit is required to reserve your pet’s spot for surgery. This deposit is applied toward the cost of your invoice, and is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Preferred Dog Spay
Includes:
- Examination
- Pre-surgical bloodwork* - checks for hidden problems to ensure the safest experience for your dog.
- Spay Surgery
- Anesthesia
- IV Catheter and Fluids* - helps to stabilize blood pressure and flushes anesthesia from the organs quickly.
- Pain medication**
- Elizabethan Collar to prevent your pet from licking surgical site.

* Bloodwork and IV Fluids are mandatory for patients age 5 +.
** Cost of pain medication may vary slightly based on patient’s body weight.
An additional $27 fee may be incurred for dogs spayed while actively in heat.
