douglass

Jennifer Douglass, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Douglass attended University of Michigan for her undergraduate education in biology.  She then earned her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University.  Dr. Douglass has worked as a general medicine veterinarian for many years and especially appreciates Community Pet Care Clinic's commitment to making treatment available to all pets and clients.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons and is always kept busy by their three cats and three dogs.  She also enjoys reading, hiking, and crochet.

Dr Brooks

Kristin Brooks, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Brooks grew up in Toledo where as a child was fascinated by animals, medicine, and all things science. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a very early age. She attended the University of Findlay for undergraduate education and Michigan State University for veterinary school. She enjoys general practice medicine and the opportunity to see a little bit of everything and develop long-term relationships with patients and their families. She shares her home with three cats and a dog.

Cristin Callahan, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Callahan is a Toledo native who returned to the area after completing her Masters in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees at the Ohio State University in 2004. She practiced in Cincinnati and Michigan before returning to Northwest Ohio to be near family. Her interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, and helping patients with affordable quality care. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cycling, and yoga, along with creating fused glass and stained glass artwork, and photography.

Kathleen Babbitt, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kathleen Babbitt is a 2000 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has spent the last 25 years as primarily a Doctor in General Practice but has also taken on roles teaching veterinary technician students, working in industry and sometimes moonlights in the ER. She prides herself in coming up with ways to help animals in need and supporting their family by thinking outside the box for solutions.

OUR FOCUS

The focus of Community Pet Care Clinic is to promote access to veterinary care for cats and dogs for all residents to decrease the chance of pets not receiving care, being surrendered to an animal shelter, or euthanized when families experience unexpected veterinary medical costs.
