Lyndie Holmes, DVM
Dr. Lyndie Holmes hails from Wildcat nation and Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine followed by an internship with Purdue University Veterinary Hospital. We are fortunate to welcome her by way of newlywed bliss and a wonderful husband who lives in the area and snagged her back to Ohio. A raucous family of five dogs, in a myriad of sizes, and three cats completes their happy home. When Dr. Holmes enjoys creating Sola flower arrangements, a beautiful wooded bloom in specially dyed colors.
Gretchen Marks RVT
Practice Manager; Registered Veterinary Technician
Gretchen joins our team and brings along with her not only her caring personality, devotion to pets and their families, and infectious laugh but also over twenty-five years of experience. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician well versed in shelter and community care as well as a knowledgeable manager and skilled people person. She is a proud mom to three up and coming young adults and a supportive wife of twenty-two years to her patient and encouraging husband. Her menagerie also includes 6 fun loving dogs, 2 royal cats (or so they believe), 2 doves, and a wise turtle. She loves to kayak on the local waterways and not so local ones too!
Christie Myers RVT, VTS (CP-C/F)
Medical Manager; Registered Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Technician Specialist (Clinical Practice-Canine/Feline)
Christie has been in the veterinary field for twenty years and recently attained her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Clinical Practice (canine/feline). She has a passion for teaching and uplifting those around her and holds positions with the local, state and national veterinary technician associations. In her spare time, she loves to hike, read, work outside in her yard or on her parent’s small hobby farm. She has two crazy trouble making kitties at home.
Emily Lyell RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Emily joins us with five years of technician experience and brings along a contagious smile, giving soul, and generous heart. As a graduate of Stautzenberger College, she is a local girl raising two trouble making pups and an encouraging cat. In addition, Emily has an active son and young princess to add to the pack. In her short-lived spare time, she enjoys spending time with her beautiful family doing all sorts of sporting events contributing to their active lifestyle and loving the blessing of being a mom.
Patti always jumps in with both feet, making herself invaluable with her quick wit, caring heart, and helpful personality. Patti brings over 30 years of veterinary assisting and reception work to our team. We wonder what we did without her. She loves to spend time on her farm with her three horses, a pony, four rabbits, an amazon parrot, six chickens, four beloved canine friends and a couple kitties. She has a deep passion for horses and competing in Western Pleasure as well and English riding competitions. Many fortunate children have benefited from her wisdom and encouragement as a 4-H mentor.
Autumn Johnson RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Autumn is a recent graduate of Stautzenberger College with a degree in Applied Science and a focus on Veterinary Technology. We are so proud of all her hard work and grateful for her endless enthusiasm to learn whiling providing the most compassionate care to all the critters she sees. Autumn is a proud dog mom to a fun loving canine mix named Hercules. Fortunately, for all animals she has such a big heart that she opens up her home to foster kittens. When she happens to have some extra time, she enjoys snuggles with Hercules while watching TV in addition to traveling, baking delectables and spending time with her supportive family.
Kayla is a recent graduate of Stautzenberger College with a degree focusing on Veterinary Technology. Not only is Kayla a dedicated veterinary professional, she also gives her experience and loving nature to her pet sitting business, Calling All Paws. Because her love of all creatures knows no limits, she also selflessly volunteers at the Toledo Humane Society in addition to opening her home to foster cats in need of some tender nurturing care. She is one amazing angel in hospital scrubs! In her very limited free time, Kayla loves to spend time with her supportive family, good friends, and fun loving menagerie of pets including two dogs and one cat.
Nicole’s friendliness and inviting nature greets every two and four legged friend who comes in the door. She joins our team and brings along a solid educational background from her secondary training at Penta Career Center focusing on Small Animal Care. She spent some time loving and caring for the grateful little souls at the Toledo Humane Society prior to blessing our family with her skills. Occupying her critter free time is a precocious little gentleman and two trouble encouraging canine friends. Family time is special and they love to spend time boating, camping, and hiking at the lake.
Shelby’s bright smile is you first see upon coming in and the friendly voice helping you on the phone. Shelby is a current student in Veterinary Technology working towards graduating in the summer of 2019. She already has a wide knowledge base of animals and their care from her secondary education through Penta Career Center Small Animal Care in addition to experience with Future Farmers of America obtaining both state and national certifications. Rounding out and showing the scope of her caring abilities she also worked with dairy and beef cattle through4-H. She dotes on and generously spoils her herd of critters at home including three well-loved house dogs, three hard working farm Aussies, and one cantankerous kitty. Shelby enjoys a good day hiking and camping at the lake or cheering on her much loved BGSU Falcon Football and Hockey teams.
